The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, which spans 40 acres, is one of the largest hotels in the United States and the world. It should come as no surprise that within Gaylord Opryland’s walls are some of the best dining and shopping options you’ll find in Nashville.

From boutiques to fashion stores, Opryland’s 13 retail locations offer everything from souvenirs to jewelry to Western wear. The eclectic shops include Alexander Kalifano that offers sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, and Lindsay Phillps has a variety of snap-and-strap interchangeable shoe designs that let you change the look of your shoes in seconds. View a full breakdown of shop names and descriptions here.

When it comes to dining, there are more than a dozen options to choose from. Diners can choose from pizza, sushi, tacos and more. Those that want a taste of the South can visit Jack Daniels, which offers hand-crafted specialties including pork barbecue, chili and fried catfish. It also features live bluegrass on most nights.  The Old Hickory Steakhouse also offers the look and feel of the South. Set in an antebellum-style mansion with a view of Opryland’s indoor river, the menu features bone-in rib steak and filet mignon.
