Message from The NATSO Show 2013 Advisory Council Chairman

By Darrin Flitton, The NATSO Show 2013 Advisory Council Chairman

While some NATSO attendees may be sleeping in or just waking up at 7 am on Monday, February 4th and Tuesday, February 5th others will be attending the Future Leader Sessions.  These sessions are a good way to start your day.  I know 7 am is early especially the morning after the Super Bowl, but it will be worth it.

I am excited to attend the Future Leader Sessions.  Monday morning kicks off with “Good People Equal Good Retail” and “Manage Your Vendors”.  What a great way to begin your week with knowledge and information.  Tuesday morning will kick off early with “Hire the Right People and Set Them Up for Success” and “Fundamental Leadership Skills.”  Both mornings are loaded with information, ideas, and knowledge you need.

You may think to yourself; “Why should I go to go to a Future Leaders seminar”?  “I don’t necessarily want to be a future leader” or “I am happy with what I am doing.”

The sessions are designed for future leaders but the information will be valuable for everyone.  I attended a Future Leader seminar in the past and it is very well worth the time.  The “take-away” is valuable.  Come join me on Monday and Tuesday mornings.  I know 7 am on the east coast is early especially for us westerners but I promise, you will not go away disappointed.
